What's inside
A printable PDF plus a fillable workbook in Excel + Google Sheets. Keep every recurring bill in one list, tick it off when it is paid, and never pay a late fee because a due date slipped by.
The printable pages (US Letter, 3 pages)
- Monthly bill tracker: 24 bills with due date, amount due, a box to tick, amount paid and date paid.
- Yearly bill checklist: 26 bills by 12 months, a box for each payment.
- Bill list: each bill's due day, usual amount, how you pay, autopay and the website to pay it on.
The workbook
- Bills: up to 30 bills with category, due day, usual amount, autopay and how you pay.
- Paid: every bill by 12 months. Type what you paid; paid cells turn green, and each month shows what is still left to pay.
- This month: a one-page monthly bill planner, sorted by due date, ready to print.
- Dashboard: bills due, paid and left to pay for the month you pick, how many are on autopay, and charts by month and by category.
- Sample check: a sample household with the answers worked out separately. Every row shows ✓ when the formulas are right.
The sample, so you know what to expect
Fourteen bills, $3,117.49 in a usual month, ten of them on autopay. In October, $2,529.94 is paid and three bills are still open: $420 left to pay, the last one due on the 28th.
Who it's for
A good fit if you
- Want a bill tracker printable for the fridge or a binder, with a monthly bill checklist to tick off.
- Have a mix of autopay and bills you pay by hand, and lose track of which is which.
- Want a bill chart for the whole year that shows what you paid each month.
Not for you if you
- Want a full budget with every purchase. Use the Google Sheets Budget Template.
- Want reminders sent to your phone. The file does not send alerts.
How it works
- List your bills once. On paper or in the Bills sheet: name, due day, usual amount, autopay.
- Tick them off. Each month, mark each bill paid, or type the amount on the Paid sheet.
- Print the month. This month gives a one-page checklist sorted by due date. Check the sample first: every row in Sample check shows ✓.
Questions
What size do the pages print?
US Letter (8.5 × 11 in). They also print on A4 with "fit to page" turned on.
How many bills can it track?
Up to 30 in the workbook, 24 on a monthly page and 26 on the yearly checklist.
What about bills that are not monthly?
Type n/a in the months a bill is not due, for example a yearly subscription. It is left off that month's checklist and totals.
Why is "left to pay" an estimate?
For bills you have not paid yet, the file uses the usual amount. Bills that change each month, like electric, can come in a little higher or lower.
Does it work in Excel and Google Sheets?
Yes. You get an Excel file (.xlsx), a Google Sheets version and the PDF. Do not store passwords or full account numbers in it.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If the template does not work for you, email [email protected] within 30 days of buying and you get your money back. See the refund policy.
