Questions
What size do the pages print?
US Letter (8.5 × 11 in). They also print on A4 with "fit to page" turned on.
Does the log meet IRS rules?
Each line has room for what the IRS asks about: date, miles, where you went and the business purpose. Check IRS Publication 463 or a tax professional for what your records need.
Is the IFTA sheet enough to file my IFTA return?
It records miles by state and fuel bought, which is what the return is built from. Your base state sets the record rules, so check them.
Can I change the rate per mile?
Yes. It is a yellow cell on Settings, set to the 2025 IRS business rate of 70 cents. Check irs.gov for the year you file.
Does it work in Excel and Google Sheets?
Yes. You get an Excel file (.xlsx), a Google Sheets version and the PDF.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If the template does not work for you, email [email protected] within 30 days of buying and you get your money back. See the refund policy.
